Known as "The Gateway to the Dales", Skipton is well placed for visiting all that the Dales has to offer, whilst York, the Lake District and the West Coast are also within easy motoring distance. This lovely market town has much to interest the enthusiastic visitor, boasting an ancient castle open to the public, a beautiful old parish church and a colourful market occupying the cobbled setts each side of the high street. Enjoy a canal trip on a traditional barge or visit Embsay Steam Railway, which has regular steam train excursions at the weekend and is only 1 mile away. Golf, swimming, squash, tennis and snooker are all available locally and the excellent public transport means the car can be left at home!

The centre of Skipton is just a short walk along the canal, where you will find many restaurants, traditional pubs, shops, a leisure centre, parks and a children's play area. An ideal base for a family holiday, at any time of year.

Three bedrooms: 2 x double, one with ensuite (shower, basin and WC), 1 x twin. Bathroom with bath, basin and WC. Ground floor WC and basin. Fitted kitchen with dining area. Two sitting rooms. Conservatory.

The property is in a nice quiet area of Skipton, yet is only a few minutes walk by the canal into the town. We enjoyed sitting in the conservatory and watching the birds and squirrels.
